If your kitchen equipment is tired, old, or on the fritz and that budget is feeling a little tight, we encourage you to check out the 2023 School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) Equipment Grants.Now is the perfect time to apply for these grants and offset capital expenses for new equipment.
SNF is teaming up with several industry partners to provide new kitchen equipment to deserving school nutrition programs. Grant applications are now open and eligible applicants can win equipment grants, each worth between $20,000 to $100,000 of equipment. Applications and photos must be submitted by a school nutrition director member of School Nutrition Association, with no eligibility requirements for a certain percentage of free/reduced eligible students. Application are due March 31, 2023 at 11:59 EST and grants will be awarded in May 2023.

Applications will be reviewed for need, plan to integrate new equipment and impact of new equipment on the school nutrition program. If selected as a finalist, you will be asked to create a 2-3-minute video. SNF staff will send you directions for the video application process if you are chosen to move on to the next round of judging.
