We are delighted to introduce Rachel Carrier, our new Director of Sales. Rachel's arrival brings a profound personal commitment to ending childhood hunger and a wealth of professional experience, making her the ideal fit for her role to lead sales for the organization.
Rachel's journey to NutriStudents K-12 includes an impressive career and extensive volunteer history. She joins the NutriStudents K-12 team from Lumen Technologies, where she served as the Lead Sales Support Associate, leading a team of ten sales support associates. In her spare time, she is a dedicated volunteer giving her time to organizations such as Feed My Starving Children, Open Arms, Project Linus, Loaves & Fishes Community Services, and Habitat for Humanity. With her background in leadership and support and dedication to volunteering to support hunger relief efforts, Rachel is well-prepared to lead NutriStudents K-12 to greater heights.
In Rachel's own words, "I have always had a strong passion for ensuring no child goes hungry. To join forces with such an incredible team who is leading the frontlines of making that possible is truly a blessing." Rachel's dedication to our mission perfectly aligns with our commitment to helping ensure nutritious meals are on school lunch menus to students across the nation.
Outside of work and volunteering, Rachel enjoys a vibrant life filled with family time, travel, camping adventures, and gardening. She can often be found sitting in the stands of local hockey areas cheering on her son. Her multifaceted interests mirror her dedication to enriching the lives of those around her.
When reminiscing about her own school lunch experiences, Rachel fondly recalls her favorite meal: Italian Dunkers. Her love for good food as a child extends to her dedication to ensuring all children have access to wholesome meals.
With her background and passion, Rachel is a valuable addition to the NutriStudents K-12 family.
